The reality of your situation as a new health insurance agent is this: You will have to become comfortable with calling all sorts of people you dont know, then selling an intangible product to them. You will be helping people by giving them a level of financial protection from huge medical bills. You will be facing feirce competiton from other agents. You wil be facing the challenge of dealing with people who are geared towards the large group health plans, that had head to toe coverage, that they probably grew up with, but are now becoming less and less common.
